Editorial Methodology & Mathematical Verification Policy | ESPORTCALC
Every calculator published on ESPORTCALC undergoes a rigorous 3-stage verification workflow before going live:
- Primary Standard Sourcing: Formulas are derived directly from primary regulatory bodies, peer-reviewed literature, or official engine/RFC specifications (such as CFPB Regulation Z, IRS Publications, ACSM metabolic equations, Valve/Riot engine yaw constants, and IETF RFCs).
- Automated Boundary & Precision Testing: Each JavaScript mathematical model is tested across boundary inputs (minimums, maximums, and baseline medians) to eliminate floating-point drift or clamping errors.
- Continuous Rate & Specification Audits: Whenever underlying constants change (such as annual tax brackets, LLM token pricing, or game engine patches), our review board updates the model parameters and records the verification date.
